What you get

The core of the Derwent Skiff Kit is the set of Plywood Parts. They are accurately CNC machined ready for use. The ply is premium quality lightweight 6mm thick Gaboon 5 ply. The building mold is also central and can be hired or purchased. Looked after, it will make many many boats.

Rowing Fittings include seat, slides, pins, swivels/gates, heel cups and footstraps.

The Solid Timber is Celery Top Pine – used for keel trim, cutwater, outer laminations on riggers and gunwales (hard and durable)
Western Red Cedar is used for all other solid timber parts (light weight, durable and easy to work)
Oars are Croker S6 fixed, Macon 195cm.
